As we close out 2022, we are optimistic to see where 2023 leads us. This year the real estate market has finally started to stabilize after the last 2 years. We have not seen the drastic drops in home valuation or interested buyers, that some have been predicting, and we expect a more balanced market the next few months to start off 2023. |

As you can see the active listings were up 20% year over year for November, and we expect buyers to have more room for negotiations and for sellers to still be able to capitalize on the extra appreciation their property has garnered over the last year. Buyers are still looking for properties in this area, and the value of homes in this mountain market is holding. |

The Birds of Prey course was constructed in 1997 as a new men’s downhill course at Beaver Creek and the course only underwent one test event prior to the the 1999 World Alpine Ski Championships. The designer, Berhnard Russi, connected the dots to Beaver Creek’s existing runs with the intent to “listen to the mountain and see what it tells”. His goal was to not change the mountain, but focus on leveraging the existing features. Even after 20+ years, Birds of Prey is regarded as one of the top courses on the World Cup circuit. |
