Starting November 24th, ski or snowshoe to a backcountry fine dining experience at the Cookhouse! Located on Tennessee Pass near Leadville, this one mile trek is gorgeous in the summer or winter months.

Open for dinner service daily and lunch on weekends, this four-course dining in an idyllic backcountry setting is a can’t miss. The winter season runs through April 16th and all meals are by reservation only! Call (719) 486-8114 to reserve your table. If your dates are not available, go ahead and head to the Nordic Center that serves beer, wine, soups, sandwiches, and coffee. No reservation needed for the casual cafe.

Don’t want the fun to end? Stay-over in their sleep Yurts. We like to call this glamping off-the-grid! Log beds with cozy down comforters and soapstone wood stoves keep you warm after a a full day at the nordic center brushing up your skills or trying a new activity such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or fat tire biking.
